2009 Conference Presentations
Improvements, new discoveries and new technologies in all aspects of organ transplantation make this dynamic field one of continued interest and excitement. The 2009 Cutting Edge Conference focused on alternative to deceased organ donors, devices used prior to transplant in children and adults, extended-criteria trends in transplantation, and biological and therapeutic interventions as treatment modalities for transplant complications. The conference was presented by the Transplant Center at Univerisity of Minnesota Medical Center and University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital.
