We believe patients and their families are key partners in the care team and we are committed to providing exceptional patient- and family-centered care.  At the Transplant Center, the patient comes first.

The information in this section will help you plan for your initial visit to the Transplant Center, as well as your visit to the hospital for transplant.

We can also help you prepare your child for his or her visit through our Children’s Preparation Program. We provide:

• A play kit and other materials to help your child get ready for his/her visit (mailed to your home) 
• A list of children’s books about hospitals and surgery
• Hospital tours 
• Child-Family Life specialists, who can support your child and help answer your questions
