Starting in April 2009, Chris Strouth needed dialysis three times a week to survive with his failing kidneys. He knew he might have to wait a long time on the list for a deceased donor kidney. So he sent out a plea on Facebook and Twitter asking if there was anyone who might be willing to donate a kidney to him.
